More than frames

I had a very busy day on Saturday.  I started working on some projects other than frames.  Here is what I came up with.  Let me know what you think.

Palm Beach Frames with a tan!!

Well..... here is the lucky frame that will be on display at Resale Therapy.  I really think this is my favorite one so far.  

I made it similar to the Palm Beach style that just sold, but I added more brown shells.  I think it gives it that little extra!!

This frame is for sale even though it will be on display.  

It is 5x7 and $150.  

I have also made a 4x6 for $125.

Today, we even made some cool inserts for the frames.  

Of course, my own DogFish are in some of them.  

Oh, and one CatFish!!!

Another Palm Beach Frame

While I was making the other Palm Beach Frame, I gotta call to make one similar.  This one was custom made to sit on a shelf and be 5x7.  It sold for $150.

Here is a close up of the center.  I used natural pieces of coral that were gathered here on Jupiter Beach.  The amazing blue accents are called Blue Limpets.  

Before I delivered this one to it's new owner, I stopped by a resale shop.  She loved this frame so much, that she is giving me a shelf in her shop.  So starting next week, you will be able to see DogFish Designs at Resale Therapy on Northlake Blvd in Palm Beach Gardens.  

Palm Beach Frames

Pretty white shells all around.  What better way to represent Palm Beach Island than pretty white shells and turquoise blue limpets.  These limpets are the color of our ocean, on most days.

While making this frame, someone contacted me asking me to make a frame for them.  I sent them a photo of the white wonder and that was all it took.  SOLD!!  I made a customized one for her.  I'll be sure to post photos of that one tomorrow, before its delivered to it's new home.

Naples and Juno Frames

Created some new frames today during the thunderstorm.  Well we had lots of thunder....but really no storm.  My little DogFish Ted sat at my feet all day.  So since I was stuck.....I decided to create!!

Most of my projects have glass beads that look like sea foam, but I recently decided to try it with sand and I like it.  Looks like finding the shells on the wet sandy beach!  Speaking of wet sandy beach, Gary and I are headed there now to see what the storm has brought us. 

Sanibel Frames

These are some of the creations from the past week.  I've been inspired by all the shells I recently got on a trip to Sanibel Island.  My best friend "Bubbles", went along for the 3 hour tour.  I totally felt like Gilligan and the Skipper headed out on the SS Minnow!!
